Taverham Mill wildlife photography competition

To celebrate the opening of Taverham Mill Nature Reserve, Just Drayton & Taverham has teamed up with Anglian Water to run a wildlife photography competition.

It is hoped that local people will make the most of having a reserve right on their doorstep by making regular visits to their new “patch” – and what better way to find out what wildlife is making a new home at the reserve than to ask visitors to take pictures?

There will be two categories in the competition, one for adults and one for under 16s, with the winner from each receiving a £25 voucher, which can be used to buy an annual pass, items from the gift shop, including a range of toys, things for the garden, Fishing tackle and equipment, plus refreshments from the visitor centre.

The vouchers can also be used at Anglian Water’s other recreation sites, where there are water sports facilities, cycle hire and other activities on offer – for more information visit www.anglianwater.co.uk/leisure.

The winners will be chosen by the editor and representatives from Anglian Water, and the best pictures will be printed in the July issue of Just Drayton & Taverham.

How to enter

Email your high resolution images to sophie@justregional.co.uk with “Photography competition” in the subject line and your name, age, address and phone number in the email. The closing date is Monday, June 23. Pictures must have been taken at Taverham Mill Nature Reserve – we’ll even accept photographs of the Highland cows as they’re so photogenic!
