Tickets on sale for fireworks display
A Sprowston scout group is getting ready to welcome you to its sparkling annual fireworks display. The 30th Norwich Scout Group will host the display in Tusting Close on Wednesday November 5. Organisers have stressed that entry to this year’s event is by ticket only and they must be bought in advance from Newscene at 557 Sprowston Road, and J & P Fish and Chips and Freshbake Bakery, both in Dixon’s Fold. The tickets (cash only) are on sale now and cost £6 (under-5s are free).
A spokesperson for the scouts said: “Gates open at 6.30pm, the bonfire is lit at 7pm, and the firework display starts at 7.30pm with an interval. The second half starts at 8pm (approximately). There are burgers, hot dogs and refreshments available.
“All profits from the event go to support the running of the Scout group.
“Please note that there is no car parking on site and we strongly encourage all those attending to travel on foot.”
