The team at the Sheringham branch of Hays Travel have set up a collection point for the Salvation Army Toys and Tins appeal.

The appeal has been running for 30 years across Norfolk, and aims to provide gifts for children from babies to 17-year-olds who would otherwise have nothing at Christmas.

Assistant manager Ellie Stammers said: “We collect every year for the Toys and Tins appeal and always have great success.

“Year after year we are so grateful for all the donations. We usually collect as close to Christmas as we can as it is always a big thing in our shop.”

As well as toys, the appeal welcomes unwrapped and good quality books, colouring sets, stationery, clothing, toiletries and fashion accessories.

It also collects tins and non-perishable food for those who may not have much at this time of year.

Donations can be taken along to Hays and all food should have a minimum use-by date of March 2023.
