Wiveton Hall Cafe will be bringing a rather different style of music to the venue this festive season.

The Corn Potato String Band will be playing authentic American Appalachian folk music at the Barn on December 5.

The members of this band have delighted audiences with their driving fiddle tunes and harmonious singing across the US, Canada, Europe and India. In addition to being champion fiddlers, they play banjo, guitar, bass and mandolin and cover many different antiquated styles including ballads, “ho-downs,” country “rags” and southern gospel, specialising in twin fiddling and double banjo tunes.

They will be live from 7.45pm and there will be a pop-up bar and wood fired pizzas available from 6pm. Tickets are £10 from the Cafe or from 01263 740515.
