Police are warning van owners to be vigilant after a number of vans were broken into over the weekend.
Eleven vans were targeted in North Norwich between Friday 19 June and this morning (Monday 22 June).

There were also two incidents in Sprowston and a further two in Thorpe.

On the majority of occasions, power and hand tools have been stolen.

Superintendent Dave Marshall said: “We have seen a number of vans targeted in recent days and whilst police are investigating these incidents we would encourage van owners to be vigilant at this time.
“If you do own a van, make sure it is secure at all times. Take some simple security steps such as parking it in a well-lit area and where possible do not leave valuables inside.

“I would also encourage anyone who may have any information about these crimes to contact police.”
Anyone with information should contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
