Volunteer open day at North Norfolk Railway
An open day will be held on Saturday, June 7, to attract more volunteers for the North Norfolk Railway.
The date will be based at the Institute at Holt and the roles needed to fill are at station staff for the three stations (a subset of “clean hands” roles.)
The morning session will start at at 9.45 and the afternoon session will start at 1.30
Sessions will last about three hours in total. There will be a brief introductory talk and those coming along will be shown around Holt, Sheringham and Weybourne stations by the station masters to enable them to see what jobs are available and to meet station staff.
Following the train trip, potential volunteers will come back to Holt for a chance to chat. The aim is that they start training/working asap after the day.
