Can you keep your head when all around are losing theirs? Magician Roy Davenport is turning that request on its head, literally, with a job vacancy at his new North Norfolk attraction.

A job advert for a Headless Lady has now gone live on Universal Jobmatch Arts Council Jobs and will also be promoted by The Norfolk Arts Forum.

The role will be at Davenport’s Magic Kingdom, which is currently being built next to Waitrose in North Walsham with plans to open late spring.

The attraction is also advertising vacancies for a café manager, café assistants and a cleaner. Across part and full time vacancies, Davenport’s Magic Kingdom will create around 15 new local jobs.”

Spokesman April Vogel said: “For anyone interested in magic, the vacancies offer a fantastic opportunity. Local food and drink producers are also being supported by Roy Davenport’s determination to source excellent quality supplies locally wherever possible.”

She added: “The response so far, within two days of the adverts going live, has been fantastic with some very interesting applications.”
