We loved our doggy day out
A fun-filled day at Cromer Pier’s new dog festival was a tail-wagging good time for dogs and dog-lovers alike.

Paws on the Pier saw owners and their furry friends get together for demonstrations, competititons and four-legged fun.
Event organiser Naomi Bushell said: “I am delighted with the whole day – the turnout was incredible.”
Fenland Working Newfoundlands demonstrated their carting skills, and more than 300 dogs entered the dog show.
The team from Cromer Vets, who sponsored and judged the classes, chose spaniel Bailey as the Golden Oldie class winner – and he ended up taking home the Best in Show prize, too.
“It’s already all paws on deck for 2026!” said Naomi.
Cromer Pier has chosen Guide Dogs UK as its charity of the year, and local volunteers were on hand to raise awareness for it.
The venue welcomes dogs all year round, and the day was a good chance for owners and their pets to check out the dog menu from Tides Bistro and enjoy a canine-friendly ice cream in the Pavilion Bar.
The next event at the pier will be the Vintage Festival on Saturday, June 7.
